Training for Township Renewal Initiative (TTRI)

The TTRI is a joint initiative of the National Treasury (Neighbourhood Development Programme), the Department of Corporative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Urban Renewal Programme), and South African Cities Network (Knowledge Unit), and the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA).

The Partners are also supported by Urban Landmark, and others.

This joint initiative aims to promote, encourage and support township development and renewal by developing the capabilities of township practitioners. This is achieved through an array of interventions including peer learning events such as short courses and seminars.
